Program Focus & Objectives:

Excellence in IIT-JEE : Emphasis on making the students imbibe the fundamental concepts of Science & Mathematics and on sharpening their analytical skills and parallel thinking process which makes them capable of creatively resolving complex and tricky problems by mere application of basic concepts for a quantum jump in their performance in IIT-JEE. Each student has the right strategy for himself/herself for TIME MANAGEMENT to ensure optimum output. This enable the students to excel not only in IIT-JEE but also in AIEEE, other Engineering Entrance Exams and XII Board Exams.

Course Structure:

v         Entire course is divided into 4 phases.

v         Right mix of classes, problem solving and doubt clearing sessions.

v         Comprehensive & thoroughly revised study material.

v         Periodic tests on the latest JEE pattern. Regular feedbacks & test analysis sessions.

v         Home assignments / Workbook.

v         IIT-JEE Archive: Question Bank with Answers.

v         Chapter practice problems (CPP): On each chapter students will be given chapter practice problems which they have to attempt and submit before the beginning of the next chapter. These solutions will be checked by the faculty and will be returned to the students with remarks and suggestions. Thus helping every student to have a very strong command over fundamental concept knowledge very crucial for getting Top ranks.

v         Class Learning Improvement Program (CLIP): Icing on the cake of every class will be done through Class Learning Improvement Program for those who have completed all assignments to further help them get a higher rank in IIT- JEE, AIEEE & other Engineering Entrance Exams.

v         Rank Potential Index (RPI) / Success Potential Index (SPI): We are the only institute in India having the capability to predict Rank Potential Index (RPI) / Success Potential Index (SPI) of a student. We constantly encourage our students to emulate their Rank Potential Index (RPI) / Success Potential Index (SPI).

v         Rank improvement Program of 45 to 60 hrs.

v         Additional help for XII Board Exams. Practice Mock Test Papers for XII Board Exam.

v         Grand Masters Package (GMP) & All India Test Series (AITS)

v         Rankers Test Paper File (RTPF).

v         Additional help for AIEEE, CET etc.

v         Open Test for IIT-JEE & AIEEE

v         Dedicated academic operations team provides feedback at any point of time apart from scheduled parent teachers meetings.

Duration:

Classroom contact hours of approx 410 hrs. However, the actual total input provided to the student is more than 530 hours which includes

v     Doubt removal sessions

v     Rank Improvement Program

v     Test Analysis Sessions etc.

At FIITJEE based on your needs we have planned your academics and it will unfold as you go along.

You will have the right mix of classes, problem solving and doubt sessions supplemented with in-depth, thoroughly revised study material for IIT-JEE, 2011.

This will help you develop comprehensive
understanding of concepts and their applications.

On each topic you will be given graded levels of assignments of varying difficulty.
This will help you develop application and analytical skills required for IIT-JEE.
Assignments shall contain objective as well as numerical type problems.
You will be given periodic tests which will be supplemented by test analysis sessions.
This will not only give you a feedback but also develop the examination temperament.
All periodic tests called phase tests will be on the latest JEE pattern.
We have planned your academics in such a way that course is finished much in advance of actual JEE. That will leave you with enough time for self-revision, polishing of examination temperament and removal of last moment doubts.

How does the change in IIT-JEE affect you?

The IIT-JEE council has taken the decision to modify the pattern in the JEE as well as change the eligibility criteria. Now it is necessary to secure at least 60% marks aggregate in XII Boards to be eligible for IIT-JEE. As you are aware about the fact that the preparation for IIT-JEE always helps for board exams as application part of the concept is sharpened in the process. FIITJEE has always emphasized on the importance of school studies. The same is reflected from the fact that we introduced PINNACLE, ASCENT Plus & SUPREME Integrated School Programs where students prepare for competitive exams along with school studies.

The JEE council has announced only two attempts for appearing in IIT-JEE. This means students have to take the first attempt in the year in which he/she appears in the XII Board Examinations very seriously. Testing pattern of IIT-JEE keeps on changing but the key aspect of the tests is to judge the analytical ability of the aspirants along with the core knowledge of the subjects.

In the quest for a seat with a good Rank in IIT-JEE where about 6000 of the entire science students of the country can only be accommodated, only the deserving ones can make to the IITs irrespective of the testing pattern as the number of seats remain same. In order to select the best, the level of difficulty would
remain unchanged.

Students having the sound fundamental knowledge of all level of graded concepts will always outperform the students who are only confining their preparation to the pattern rather than understanding the concepts.

Students who follow the basic approach to make their core fundamental knowledge clear to the optimum level, always surpass the other at any level/pattern of exam.

The patterns announced by IIT-JEE council is not new to FIITJEE. FIITJEE has been testing the potential of the students through the comprehension based objective questions for the last couple of years.  The test pattern of FIITJEE Talent Support Exam conducted on 24th September, 2006 was conceived much before announcement of
IIT-JEE, 2007 test pattern and has some striking similarities with it. IIT–JEE, 2009 had questions – Numerical based, comprehension & matrix match type which had been a part of
FIITJEE All India Test Series for IIT – JEE, 2009.

Since inception, FIITJEE has laid emphasis on making the students imbibe the fundamental concepts of Science & Maths and on sharpening their analytical skills and parallel thinking process.

This program is integrated and implies that we judge you only once and then take the responsibility of navigating your career for the entire curriculum. The above program has two options to choose from:

Regular Week Contact Program

In Regular Week Contact Program whole of IIT-JEE syllabus will be covered in four phases. Each phase is followed by 1 week of study leave, followed by a Phase Test. Classes shall generally be held three or four days a week, for four hours each time. The Classes are usually conducted after school hours (i.e. from 3:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.). (Early completion of the Course enables all students to cope up well with the last month’s pressure of school besides giving adequate time for revision and consolidation of the knowledge and skills acquired at FIITJEE and required for being successful in IIT-JEE).

Weekend Contact Program

Classes shall be held only on Saturdays and Sundays (except during vacations, during which the frequency of classes may increase), all three subjects shall be taught for two hours each on each day of class (of course with appropriate breaks). Students will be having classes on Saturday mornings too.

Classes shall be held on Saturday & Sundays as per the following schedule*:

On Saturday
On Sunday
1st Class    10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.   1st Class   09:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
2nd Class   12:45 a.m. to   2:45 p.m.       2nd Class      11:45 a.m. to 01:45 p.m.
3rd Class   3:30 p.m. to   5:30 p.m.       3rd Class 02:15 p.m. to 04:15 p.m.

      * Subject to change if required.

Time devoted and plan of this program is exactly the same as for the Regular Week Contact Program. Selection criteria for this batch will be tougher than that for Regular Week Batch as you need to have higher degree of motivation and ability to stay focused in the class for six hours (of course with appropriate breaks) For example, if the cut off for Regular Week Batch is 250 marks in the Admission Test, the cut off for Weekend Batch could be 290 (i.e. selection cut off for weekend batch would be higher as compared to Regular Week batch).

Note:    Not all program option are available at all FIITJEE centres. The schedule of classes may vary from one study centre to   another. Kindly contact your nearest FIITJEE centre for more details.
