FIITJEE was created in 1992 by the vision and toil of Mr. D. K. Goel, a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from IIT Delhi. We had a very humble beginning as a forum for IIT-JEE, with a vision to provide an ideal launch pad for serious JEE aspirants. Onto the way to realization of this vision, we somewhere went beyond just coaching for IIT-JEE. We actually started to make a difference in the way students think and approach problems. We started to develop ways to enhance students’ IQ. We started to leave an indelible mark on the students who have undergone FIITJEE training. We started changing lives. And all this was not a sheer coincidence. It was the urge, the compelling desire, to always aspire for perfection and in the process, continuously keep on setting newer benchmarks of excellence, which enabled us and our students to achieve what we have achieved. The success of our students was inspiring and so was their faith in FIITJEE. It was this faith that was a catalyst for our venturing into areas beyond IIT-JEE. Launch of FIITJEE World Schools at Hyderabad is a concentrated effort in that direction, where students will be trained for the best in the world through methodologies and practices that are truly world class. Since its inception in 1992, FIITJEE has always supported meritorious and deserving students to succeed in their career goals. Students joining FIITJEE’s training programs have excelled not only in IIT-JEE but also in AIEEE & other Engineering Entrance Examinations / SAT / Olympiads / NTSE & KVPY. FIITJEE’s emphasis on making the students imbibe the fundamental concepts of Science & Maths and on sharpening their analytical skills and parallel thinking processes has ensured that the students have also performed excellently in their school studies & Board Exams.

The prime objective of FIITJEE has been to provide students with a platform where they are able to access the collective knowledge of experts that can help them in achieving their goal. In consonance with this belief FIITJEE has supported financially weak students with scholarships & grants.

Taking the initiative of helping the economically underprivileged to a larger level, in the year 2008, FIITJEE constituted FORTUNATE 40 – A program to provide world-class training to serious students from financially weaker backgrounds to achieve their goal of success & Top Ranks in IIT-JEE and Other Competitive Exams.

The program will financially support capable students presently studying in class VIII (going to IX) & class X (going to XI) whose total parental income is less than Rs. 10,000/- per month. FIITJEE will support these meritorious students in their preparation for achieving their dream goal, by awarding 100% scholarships for FIITJEE program & 100% waivers on hostel charges. For Integrated School Program, the school fee will be charged from the student (at some locations scholarship on school fee may also be awarded). The FORTUNATE 40 batch for each program, at each location, will have a maximum of 40 students only.

Students will have to appear for a selection test on 13th November, 2011. There is no registration fee for the selection test. To be eligible for the FORTUNATE 40 batch, students have to clear the individual subject cut-offs & also the grand total cut-off. Selected students will be notified and admitted to the program with 100% scholarships.

The final discretion of award of scholarship in each case will remain with FIITJEE and this decision will be final and binding on the candidate.

Though the number of seats in IITs are limited but any student preparing for IIT-JEE at FIITJEE reaps benefits beyond IIT-JEE. FIITJEE takes pride in improving attitude, creativity, analytical skills & IQ of all its students. Eligibility to appear in selection test

1. The student should be presently studying in class VIII / X and be an aspirant of IIT-JEE, 2016 / IIT-JEE, 2014.

2. Student should be from Central Government School, State Government school for under privileged section of society for example students studying in Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Schools. The total parental income should be less than Rs. 10,000/- per month.

   Other students (studying in public / private schools) may also apply, however their application will be considered on case to case basis and on the discretion of the management.

Criteria for Scholarships

Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Programs and Hostel Fee Waiver will be decided on the basis of performance and subject to scoring above minimum cut-off marks in Subjective Paper (Paper 3). Subjective Paper will be evaluated only for those students who qualify (clear minimum cut-off marks) the Objective Papers (Paper 1 & Paper 2). Students must appear in all the Papers i.e Paper 1,Paper 2 & Paper 3 to become eligible for any Fee Waiver. Thereafter students may be called for an interview at their respective study centre.

Now, with the increase in competition and keeping in mind that only two chances are available, only the very talented students can succeed by starting their IIT-JEE training in XI. But, if you do not have an inborn spark that can put you in Top 6000 students in JEE you have no other choice but to start as early as class IX to achieve the desired success in IIT-JEE.

Four years of intensive IIT-JEE training within the school framework is ambrosia for IIT-JEE. SUPREME – Four Year Integrated School Program helps students excel in IIT-JEE, X & XII Boards, KVPY and Olympiads besides enhancing their IQ at every stage.

Since, SUPREME - Four Year Integrated School Program is a social effort, the fee that we charge is less than half of our cost of the program, therefore we have very limited seats available in SUPREME - Four Year Integrated School Program.

Students joining this program will have more time to clear their fundamentals and practice extensively for IIT-JEE, their ultimate goal!

FIITJEE’s Two Year Classroom Program will train you for IIT-JEE + XII Boards + AIEEE + KVPY + Olympiads + Other Engineering Entrance Exams. The entire course is divided into 6 phases including initiation phase. It includes classroom contact hours of approx 626 hrs. : 320 hrs. in class XI & 306 hrs. in class XII. However, the actual total input provided to the student is more than 800 hours which includes doubt removal sessions, Rank Improvement Program, Phase Tests and Tests of All India Test Series, Test Analysis Sessions etc.

How to Register

Fill in your complete details in the Application Form of Fortunate 40, mentioning test centre, segment code and preference of study centre alongwith the photocopy of last school exam marksheet / school identity card, two passport size colour photographs and submit it to the nearest FIITJEE centre.

Selected students will have to submit the following documents at the time of taking admission:

1. Marksheet of last class attended

2. Certificates of scholastic achievements (if any)

3. Residence proof (Ration card / Passport / Election Id Card of parents)

4. Income proof of both parents as given below :

(a)  Salary Slip of last month (if employed in a private firm / Government / Semi Government organisations)

(b)  Affidavit / self declaration form (as per requisite format) duly attested by any one of the following – District Police Chief (City Chief in case of Metro), General Manager or above rank of Nationalised Bank, District Income Tax Chief (City Chief in case of Metro) / Assistant Commissioner & Above Rank. In case you are not able to get desired co-operation from these officials you may then approach Chief Minister, Home Minister or Education Minister for the State, Minister of Home, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Education at the Centre, Supreme Court & High Court Judge, Cabinet Secretary, Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary, Education Secretary at the Centre or even Honorable President or Prime Minister.

Fee waivers for FIITJEE programs & Hostel Fee Waivers are valid for the select mentioned programs only. Students enrolling with benefits (Scholarship for FIITJEE Program / Hostel Fee Waiver) associated with Fortunate 40 selection test, cannot join any other institute in any form. In case the student joins another institute, all the benefits given will be withdrawn and FIITJEE can also take action against such student.

Hostel fee waivers are valid only for FIITJEE’s associate hostels / lodging and boarding facilities made available through FIITJEE, subject to the student joining that particular hostel and availability of seats. The hostel fee waivers are valid till the duration of the FIITJEE program.

5.

FIITJEE reserves the right to change / cancel any program, eligibility criterion without prior notice.

6 (a).

The registered office of FIITJEE Limited is at New Delhi. All disputes and differences of any nature with regard to the Fortunate 40, subsequent enrollment and studies shall be referred to the Sole Arbitrator appointed by the Management of FIITJEE Ltd. The Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and Statutory modification thereof and rules made there under. The award of the arbitrator shall be final & binding. The arbitrator so appointed shall not be incapacitated for reasons of their being the employee of FIITJEE Ltd. or its sister concern, and for reasons of having any prior linkage with the company. The seat of arbitration will be Delhi. All the parties - student / parents / guardian & FIITJEE agree that they shall not commence or maintain any action in a court of law relating to Fortunate 40, subsequent enrollment & studies at FIITJEE except for enforcement of the arbitral award. All parties waive any right to appeal. This is needed for speedy redressal of issues & all parties agree to this.

Subject to 6 (a) herein above, the exclusive Jurisdiction in the matter shall vest in Delhi / New Delhi Courts only.
